Time & Location
Jun 25, 2026, 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM
Madison Public Library, 12 Old Point Ave, Madison, ME 04950, USA
About the event
How do we build and maintain habitat to help our pollinators? What time of year should we mow our fields that is most beneficial to pollinators? What about all those dandelions that first appear in the Spring? To mow or not to mow! Learn about it, and more with this fun, educational program! A slide show featuring information about local pollinators including bees, bats, hummingbirds and other insects will be followed by an outdoor craft. T-shirts for that craft will be available for sale for $5 or bring your own light-colored t-shirt from home. Suitable for children and adults of all ages but young ones will need parental supervision and assistance during the craft.
