Your Safety Is Our Priority
The library is open to the public.
We strive to make your visit a safe and inviting experience. Common sense practices such as providing hand sanitizer and cleaning high-touch surfaces illustrate that we are committed to
the health and safety of our patrons and staff.
Masks are optional.
Check out our events page for general information, times and dates for story time, book sales, and other happenings.
About Our Library
Madison Public Library was built in 1905, and opened in 1906, with a grant from Andrew Carnegie and funds from a group of local citizens who recognized the impact such a library would have on their small town.
