Your Safety Is Our Priority
The library is open to the public.
We strive to make your visit a safe and inviting experience. Hand sanitizer, regular cleaning of high-touch surfaces such as keyboards and computer stations, and plexiglass dividers illustrate that the health and safety of patrons and staff is our top priority.
Masks are optional.
Check out our events page for general information, times and dates for story time, book sales, and other happenings.
About Our Library
Madison Public Library was built in 1905, and opened in 1906, with a grant from Andrew Carnegie and funds from a group of local citizens who recognized the impact such a library would have on their small town.
